Homeopathic care is often effective during acute and chronic illness. Again, the remedies are not directed at removing symptoms or killing germs, but rather toward strengthening the person so that his or her own healing capacities work better. Essential to homeopathic care is the information that the client provides to the practitioner. The homeopathic consultation involves extensive listening and questioning about the client's well-being.
Initial Consultation
The initial consultation lasts 2 to 2.5 hours to allow ample time for the client to share anything that is truly characteristic about him or herself. After the consultation, the practitioner will recommend a homeopathic remedy that best fits the person based on the information given. All homeopathic remedies are readily available over-the-counter.
Follow-up Consultations
Follow-up consultations, lasting 30 to 45 minutes, are scheduled to assess the action of the homeopathic remedy on the person's healing capacities.
Acute Phone Calls
Acute phone calls, from existing clients, are accepted between consultation appointments. A homeopathic remedy may be recommended to strengthen the person's healing capacities during an acute illness. |
